“Allies” by Lawrence Holofcener, Anglo-American c.1995. The bronze depicts Winston Churchill and Franklin Delano Roosevelt in amicable conservation. It had suffered from its exposure to weather and birds but the two bronze figures responded well to restoration and their original patina was preserved.
